A closable zipper is often used to reseal the pouch for safe storage of remaining products inside the pouch. It comes with a bottom gusset or a K-Style Bottom gusset. The bottom gusset allows for the pouch to have a rectangular base. Bottom of the bag is in full contact with the shelf and it allows for more volume compared to the round bottom stand up pouches. This pouch has 2 vertical sealed edges. Brand messaging can be populated on the front and back of the pouch.
Containing anything from candy to soup to detergent to pet food, this popular packaging format is designed to stand alone unassisted and differentiates itself from typical flexible packaging bag styles for that reason. Side gusseted bag traditionally used for coffee and tea, nowadays, it become more and more popular in the pet food, powders goods and other specialty food products. It is formed in a rectangle shape. The bottom of the pouch is gusseted from sides and sealed. Vertical sides of the bag are creased to allow the pouch to stand up straight on shelves. Brand messaging is effective on the front, back and side panels.
Side gusseted bags are also referred as Quad Seal Bags. The main feature is that the 4 vertical edges of this bag are sealed allowing the bag to sit upright on the shelf . Sealed vertical edges does not allow the bag to balloon from the middle and the panels of the bag after filling stay flat compared to a Side Gusseted Bag. This allows for better shelf impact and display of brand messaging.
Sunshine packaging side gusset bags can come with a robust K seal and can be fitted with a round, one-way degassing valve if required. The fin seal can be centred on the back panel or positioned in the corner to keep the rear side of the bag smooth and blank for labels, printed text or images.

Flat bottom bag is also called block bottom pouch, square bottom pouch, box pouch or flat bottom quad seal pouch.
Box Pouch has been a very popular style recently. As per the name, it offers an alternative to a folded carton box. The vertical edges of the pouch are sealed to give it a box type shape. With a flat bottom, it stands up straight on the shelf allowing for brand messaging on all 4 vertical panels as well as the bottom of the pouch.
Flat Bottom quad seal bag is very similar to a Box Pouch once it is sealed . The difference is that the top of this bag can be fully opened like a Side Gusseted Bag. The disadvantage of this style of bag to a Box Pouch is that it has limited options for automated packaging. Box pouch is more cost effective in terms of cost of the pouch and automated packaging.
Flat bottom bags do not have a back sealing, hence both the face and back panels are undisturbed for better flexibility on additional placements and fittings.

Thermal Lamination Film

The most common roll widths are 9", 12", 18", 25", and 27", but go all the way up to 62" for extra wide laminating. We have all the lamination rolls you need no matter what brand of laminator you have. Standard lengths range from 100' to 1000' and even longer, with core sizes including 1", 2 1/4" (2.25"), and 3".
Lamination rolls come in 1.2, 1.5, 1.7, 3, 5, 7, and 10 mil thicknesses, giving you plenty of options for flexible or sturdy lamination. We carry a full line of film rolls in thermal and cold (sticky) varieties, with hundreds of standard and specialty rolls available. Our Skyline and GBC clear lamination film is popular with schools and copy shops because it works great on a variety of substances.
Thermal lamination films have extrusion coated surface with low temperature melting resin, which enables the lamination of film to paper products by heat and pressure. Our films can be used on all types of thermal laminating machines available across the world. We provide thermal lamination films in both BOPP and PET base. On the other hand, wet lamination films are suitable for conventional wet lamination done with dispersion, solvent-based, UV or special hot-melt adhesives. All lamination films used for wet lamination are pre-treated on both sides for subsequent converting (hot stamping, embossing, UV spot varnishing, etc.). The films are slip modified for high speed lamination and have good anti-static properties. The films also have excellent adhesive anchorage which in turn supports excellent bonding with paper. These films are available in BOPP base.

A highly stretchable plastic film commonly made from Linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) that is wrapped around items. The elastic recovery keeps the items tightly bound.

Usually, a stretch film is used to hold boxes and products together on a pallet for transportation.
